FEWI 2011 CALENDAR
THEME - Animals in Essex
We are looking for lots of photographs of animals in Essex. (Four legged ones). There is plenty of scope - animals in the Zoo, working animals and farm animals but please no pets. Keep your camera with you at all times and see what you can capture.
Reminder of some useful tips-
Your Camera
For quality
reproduction the camera should ideally be a 3 million + pixels. When
taking pictures that you hope to print out, select the option on your camera
that stores fewer pictures but larger in file size on your memory card.
Print-outs
Prints should be submitted on photo
quality paper. Minimum Size approximately 6" x 4" to a maximum of A4.
Remember - it is easier for us to reduce than to enlarge.
Remember
Picture should be clear and sharp, if
you can see dots (pixels) then these will be exaggerated when reproduced.
Send your entry, in landscape format, to the W.I.
Centre by 31st January 2010
(We would like some autumn and winter pictures
as well as sunny ones)
Attention! - On the back of the entry put, in PENCIL, your name and address and W.I. together with where in Essex the photograph was taken. It is better if you do this on a label and then stick the label on the back of the photo, in one corner GOOD LUCK!
