This Committee consists of eight members, including a member of
Country Markets

Its remit is to:

Cover all crafts offering practical hands-on opportunities

Encourage members with an interest in a special craft to further their knowledge by taking ONC certificate courses enabling them to pass on information to fellow members

Provide interesting days so that members can come along and enjoy speakers, covering a wide range of craft subjects, flower arranging and promote cookery of all types (not just jams and preserves)

The list is endless

Please contact the WI Centre on 01245 382233 if you have a suggestion for future workshops or if as a member you would like to sit as an observer on this Committee we would love to hear from you

Forthcoming Events

SILVER CLAY WORKSHOP

WI Centre
Tuesday 24th November
10am to 4pm

Workshops with Melanie Blaike have always proved successful in the past and she has suggested a Christmas theme might be a good idea for this one.
It will be for beginners as well as those of you who have attended previously so don't miss this opportunity.
Cost will be £36.50 (to include materials)
A slight rise in cost is due to the increase in the price of silver which unfortunately has to be passed on.
Bring a packed lunch, tea/coffee will be available

WIRED JEWELLERY
Monday 30th November
WI Centre
10am to 3pm
Cost £20 (to include materials)

Our recent beading workshops have been very successful and we have invited Tutor Carol Allen back to give you an opportunity to learn new beading wiring techniques.  Wire jewellery is about putting different components together in a beautiful way.  You can make a simple but elegant necklace or tiara - the choice is yours
Please bring a packed lunch, tea and coffee will be available
